This custom furniture showroom in the Distillery is about as Canadian as it gets. The preferred material is maple, harvested from sustainable forests in Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. Dining tables and bench seats look like chunky slabs on sturdy legs, but the workmanship is top-notch with near-invisible joinery and smooth finishes that feel like velvet to the touch. Their Historic Lumber Collection includes an impressively sized dining table made of solid Douglas fir salvaged from the Distillery’s 1927 Rack House M building. A savvy selection of striking lamps and sizable sofas hold their own against all that dark wood.
