A garage just south of the Junction’s main Dundas drag houses Mike Echlin’s extensive selection of restored ’60s stereo cabinets by Claritone, Electrohome, and more. Available in assorted lengths, each cabinet houses audio equipment with dials and displays that no doubt seemed futuristic at one time. Other vintage finds include curvy lamps, brightly upholstered sofas, and a surprising 1942 Leonard refrigerator. Echlin is also something of an art curator; his shop features paintings by local artists such as Danny Smith, Jeff Blackburn, and even Echlin himself (under the pseudonym Spazz).
