While select Miele appliances are available at big-box stores across town, this new showroom has a complete inventory of the German manufacturer’s high-end refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, induction cooktops and steam ovens. Owned and operated by Caplan’s – one of the city’s oldest appliance stores – this red and white space bears little resemblance to its family member across the street. One salient feature is the high-end kitchen with a full-time chef that hosts cooking demonstrations highlighting Miele’s latest.
