Owner Sam Mirshak’s specialty is architectural details rescued from Victorian-era buildings across North America and even Europe, including front doors, hardware, wrought iron mantels, awnings and gates. TDS refurbishes these century-old finds into modern pieces or leaves them “as is” for shoppers who want to add a touch of antique warmth to a modern home. Its curated selection of lighting is not to be missed – the inventory ranges from elegant chandeliers (think Titanic) to schoolhouse pendants complete with creamy milk-glass shades and mid-century utilitarian fixtures.
