Designed by Kohn Shnier Architects, UCS is clad in translucent vertical pink bands that make the building glow like a Japanese lantern at dusk. The two-storey home accessory shop carries Umbra’s solid line of garbage bins, drapery rods, mirrors, bathroom accessories, novelty desk toys and picture frames. But only here will you find the higher-end U+ Studio collection designed in-house, including “it” items like the sleek Cru wine rack, the Magino stool complete with magazine storage and the elegant Chantilly decanter.
